  • fcg - Four Colour Ghosts join Dorje show Four Colour Ghosts join Dorje show

    Posted on 17/05/2016 5:29 pm by kev36663

We are thrilled to welcome Four Colour Ghosts back to support Dorje at Sunderland Independent on May 27th.

They really woo’d us at The Cluny last year, a show they joined at almost the last minute, so we’re interested to see what they can do with more time.

Four Colour Ghosts are a selection of highly skilled, dedicated, and passionate musicians from the heart of Teesside who are determined to bring the power back to original rock music.
They are equipped with deliciously catchy guitar riffs and anthemic lyrics that pack a punch as well as tug on your heart strings. read more

We’ve now completed the heat stages of the Bloodstock M2TM Competition. 25 bands took to the stage in Trillians and there’s been some amazing performances. And some Donk. But mostly, amazing performances.

As well as being the first time for the Bloodstock M2TM Competition is Newcastle, it’s also my first time at running a Battle of the Bands style competition. 10 years of this and it’s the first time I’ve really done it – and fuck – there’s been so many so so good bands who didn’t get through, it was heartbreaking. read more

    Dorje
    live at Sunderland Independent

    May 27th 2016

After two great shows last year, Dorje return to the region – this time hitting up Sunderland Independent – in order to be closer to fans who couldn’t quite make it last time and close enough for those who could.

If you’re unfamiliar with Dorje, they’re a great modern technical band – not too dissimilar to Alter Bridge or Incubus, they are also really well connected to their fans – harnessing social media and holding many clinics and Q+A sessions. Dave “Chappers” Chapman is a complete guru when it comes to guitars and gear (and even built a custom range based on fan feedback!) and this really helps turn them into an approachable, professional and quality band. read more

We’re in the city centre this time, The Head of Steam on Neville Street providing the perfect backdrop. 30th May 2016, a great way to celebrate a bank holiday.
